Alone In the Rain Cont. [Serenity/Vivian]

Mathew leaned with his back against a pole, bored. The light above him illumiated his form. He wore his ussual torn and worn black hooded jacket and some dirty jeans that had been faded over time.
The two where to arrive soon, and he was honestly looking forward to meeting another person who wasn't a complete psycho. Also, of course, he looked forward to seeing serenity always, even though he was living with her temporarily. The text and the phone call from earlier told him to be waiting there, and he wasn't sure if he felt comfortable doing so. Luckily, the spooks weren't around tonight, thankfully. This was probably due to Serenity making sure it was safe for him to be there.

Sorina beat Serenity and Vivian to Matt's place and smirked as she saw him, So this is lover boy huh. she thought with a smirk playing across her beak. She was going to have fun observing this conversation.

Before she could think of anything to incriminating she heard Serenity coming down the side alleys, she'd be here soon. To bad that meant there was no time to get anything to incriminating, "Serenity and Vivian'll be here soon." she said to Matt just loud enough for him to hear.[/size]

Vivian looked up at the apartment complex and it seemed like a nice place to stay, but that was just from the outside. Then again anything with a bed would be good enough for Vivian.

Serenity smiled as she could finally see the apartment complex and knew Mathew would be standing out in the front and waved as she came up closer, "Hey good to see you again." she said with a soft smile. She was still wearing the hair clip he had given her which she still insisted was just because it was functional. Who would've guessed the sarcastic blond would be shy.

Sorina was loving every moment of it, "You going to~"

"Sorina shut up." she growled at the dove before she could finish what she was insinuating, "Sorry." she said quickly to the other two, "The dead are sometimes more annoying then they were in life." she said with a glare at the dove who was still shooting her an innocent look.[/size]

Mathew nearly jumped out of his skin when the disembodied voice reached his ears. Looking around he spotted the girl who he beleived the words came from. blinked at vivan, and asked, "if vivan and serenity aren't here yet who are you?" He stopped and spotted serenity and waved with a smile, though he still had chills running down his spine. "Oh, that must have been Sorina then"' He said catching on quickly enough.
He spun around and unlocked his door before opening it. He fluidly flipped one the lights but stopped in his tracks. The bed was ripped and torn, bits of trash and debris was strewn about. His bookcase was overturned and splintered. Mathew let out a sigh. "I don't ussually keep it this messy I swear." He tryed to joke about it but his concern sounded in his voice; they had found were he used to live. He came out of the bathroom with two thick nuetral colored clothe towels. "here, you guys are soaked. Were you guys just standing around in the rain?" He handed Vivian her towel but wrapped Serenity's around her himself, all gentleman-like.

Serenity sighed sadly at the state of the apartment. The FBI obviously weren't ones to be subtle. Well they had some cleaning up to do, that was for sure.

"Thanks." she said smiling up at him, "Well they didn't destroy the bathroom that's a good think." she joked lightly and gave him a supportive glance. The team that had been sent to look for Mathew had left a while ago and were now chasing after lost trails to find him.

The reason they would never find him was she was following their futures like a hawk. That and they never did anything spontaneously, it was always planned out, and that played to their advantages, "So let's get this place cleaned up." she said picking up trash as she went through.[/size]

Vivian scanned the room and softly laughed, she caught the towel and said "Thanks." She began to enter the room when she suddenly stopped like she had ran into a wall. She chuckled and mumbled "Forgot about that." She then looked at Mathew and said "Hey could you invite me in? It;s one of the "laws" of the vampires and one of the disadvantages of being one. It's funny really, of all the stories surrounding us the most ridiculous one is true." Then as if to prove her point, she raised her hand up to the entrance and it couldn't go past the doorway.

Mathew raised an eyebrow at Vivian. "Vampire? ...right...whatever. Come on in." Serenity didn't say anything about a vampire, and like most people, he certainly didn't beleive in said creatures.
He would have totally glomped Serenity when he saw her but Sorina was teasing enough as it was. He shot her a smile for her optimistic comment, but wished he could just fix his apartment. It wouldn't take all of three minutes if he could use his... ability.
"Erm... Vivian, can you keep a secret?"

Vivian glared at Mathew and said "What? You don't believe in vampires or something," she chuckled and shook her head and added "Then you probably wouldn't believe that I'm half vampire and half were wolf, would you? But, thanks." She walked in through the door and looked at the complete mess. "Yeah I can keep a secret. Why?"

Serenity glanced over her shoulder at Mathew and Vivian, it was actually quite funny to think that the people of jump city didn't believe in vampires and werewolves but they could deal with aliens every day. Funny how the supernatural didn't often come into contact with science fiction. "Matty she can keep a secret, trust me. Why else would I do this?" she asked glancing over at him and tried to dry her hair with the towel.

Serenity put down what she had been cleaning to walk over to the other two, she knew what hew was now planing so she could get away with being lazy too. She smiled softly as she went to stand beside Mathew.[/size]
